Community Meeting on November 13 at Visitor Center

The City of Fredericksburg invites residents, business owners, and downtown stakeholders to a public meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center (601 Caroline Street).

This meeting is part of the Downtown Traffic Engineering Study, a citywide effort to improve safety, traffic flow, walkability, and accessibility in the downtown area. Attendees can drop in at any time to view maps and materials, ask questions, and share their input with city staff and the project’s consulting team.

Planning for a Safer, More Accessible Downtown

The study aims to develop strategies that make it easier and safer to move around downtown Fredericksburg, whether by car, bike, or on foot. City staff will share findings and gather feedback to finalize project scopes, cost estimates, and implementation phases.

Public participation will help ensure that the final recommendations reflect the real needs of residents, visitors, and local businesses.
